If you ask me which is the best teen drama, I’d scream at the top of my voice and say RIVERDALE!!
What is the story?
If you have not yet heard of this series which has an enormous fan base and a box full of 4 seasons (well a part of the fourth had to be canceled but whatever) you really need to read the news very often!
yeah, yeah I’ll stop overreacting and tell you what is it about. so the story is about 4 teens Jughead, Archie, Betty, and Veronica…sound similar? Right these are the characters from Archie comics. After the murder of the only boy of the town’s rich family in the sweet water river, they together try to find the killer but instead are welcomed by the town’s deadly past and secrets!
Who is the cast?
Jughead Jones aka Cole Sprouse. Archie Andrews played by KJ Apa. Betty Cooper played by Lilie Reinhart and Veronica Lodge aka Camila Mendes. These four are the core of Riverdale.
When will season 5 be released?
Due to the pandemic, the show earlier had to cancel a part of season 4. The end of the season was to show the group attending prom and then off to college. But the production was stopped midway.
Earlier the show was scheduled to release in October 2020. With so much going on the release is likely to be postponed until next year! It is sad but most likely true!!
But the good news is that although the release won’t be this year the filming has officially started in September 2020! So we would most likely see season 5 in January 2021.
Until then we might have to dwell on the previous shows. That’s right its time for some binge-watching aye mate!
