The show makers know that this is the right time to release Demon Slayer Season 2. The season is to be titled Yuukaku Hen or the Red Light District Arc. Amongst the Hashira, Tengen Uzui is now going to be in focus. This arc will deal with the ramifications of the Mugen Train movie, and will be its direct continuation.

In the Mugen Train movie, we met and adored Hashira Kyoujuro Rengoku who sadly died heroically in the fight with the demon Akaza. The movie ends with his death, and his hope for the new generation Demon Slayer.

• We will also be introduced to Rengoku’s father and younger brother who are dealing with the aftermath of his death. This is bound to be a tearjerker.
• The villain is an Upper Moon named Daki, who is hiding a secret and is the most powerful demon the protagonists have faced until now. This demon as well as has a heart-breaking backstory related to their life in Yoshiwara.
• Nezuko is going to grow in strength, and reveal a whole new form in this arc.
• The trio are going to achieve a whole new level in their techniques and in their strength level.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Platforms and Release Date

Ufotable, has given us incredible visuals in the first season of Demon Slayer. The music and when Tanjiro fought the Spider Demon were iconic. In this season as well, the expectations are very high. The new season will be broadcasted in 30 channels in Japan. It has also been picked up by Netflix and Crunchyroll for streaming.

It will also have a subbed and dubbed versions in a variety of languages. The viewers are waiting eagerly to meet the trio, and experience their adventures.
