HDFC Bank is known for its super-premium card and reward points, which can be converted to a nearly 1:1 ratio. But there has been a decline in the reward points value due to COVID times, which has irked many existing super-premium card users like Diners Club Black and Infinia. While Diners Club black has its portal offering 10X value up to 25,000 points per month on specific stores, Infinia doesn’t have any such offers.
In this case, HDFC Bank is relaunching Infinia as a metallic card with some fantastic features. This would be the third metallic credit card, including the Amex Platinum card and IDFC One Card.
The HDFC Metal Card looks strikingly similar to the Chase Sapphire range in the USA.
HDFC Bank Infinia Metal Card Features:
- Complimentary Club Marriott membership in the first year (existing feature)
- 1+1 complimentary buffet on weekends at participating ITC Hotels
- 2+1 complimentary nights at participating ITC Hotels
- 1:1 Rewards Redemptions for Tanishq vouchers and Apple products
Though the official announcement is yet to be made from HDFC Bank, these features are expected to be present for the existing card users. The fees will be INR 12,500+GST in the future for the metal card, and the minimum spend to keep the card free will be 10 Lakhs.
