Indian Idol 12 is at the door to the finale. There are so many exciting events lined up, for this weekend’s Grand Finale episode, the makers have pulled all the stops. Noted singer Asha Bhosle is entering the Indian Idol stage. She will perform her classic hits, share anecdotes and most of all reveal the Indian Idol finalists.
We had an amazing season. Yes, there were many controversies, two contestants especially Danish and Shanmukha Priya were trolled mercilessly. But it is undeniable that the guest stars and the performances has been stellar. Asha Bhosle is just yet another gem amongst them this year. The Top 7 were sent back home to bring in votes, and appeal to the audiences. The contestants were joyfully reunited with their families. Now, it is time to face the music, and fight on the Indian Idol stage.

Indian Idol 12 Elimination Updates
Eliminations are likely to take place this episode. In a move, that left audiences fuming Sawai Bhatt and Anjali Gaikwad were eliminated. This move has enraged many. The remaining contestants are:
- Pawandeep Rajan
- Arunita Kanjila
- Shanmukhpriya
- Nihal Tauro
- Mohammed Danish
- Sayali Kamble
- Ashish Kulkarni
Amongst them Pawandeep has won hearts with his talent and soulful music. The fact that Shanmukhpriya and Danish, made it to the Top 7. But things took a turn when a popular news outlet decided to gauge the true audience interest and voting share. According to that report, Pawandeep, Arundati, Nihal, Sayali and Ashish were given a whooping 33.1% votes. The audiences wanted these five to become the Top 5 of Indian Idols. Audiences only gave Danish and Shanmukhpriya a measly 27.5% of votes.
Many reports are certain that this week both Danish and Shanmukhpriya will be out of the Indian Idol race. Let’s see what the episodes will bring.
